To All Handballers,
I am pleased to be involved in one of the greatest
handball communities in the US now that I live in Colorado. There
are multiple players and numerous places to play across the state,
both indoors and out. Recently I underwent two procedures to repair some
ailments left over from my NFL playing days. My rehabilitation is intense
and what keeps me going is knowing that someday soon I will back out on the
court playing the perfect game.
In the meantime, I am getting involved with the great
handball community here in Colorado and helping them run one of
the best tournaments east of the Rockies, the 2013 Colorado HOF
Doubles tournament March 7-10. This years event will be extra
special, not because I will be the emcee at Saturday nights HOF
dinner, but because the greatest players in the world will be in attendance
with the WPH R48/SR48 Pro Stop #5 taking place alongside the CO HOF
Doubles. This will be an event you do not want to miss. If you have yet to
sign up it means one thing, you're a handball player and you procrastinate
like the rest of us.
Please take a minute and go to
http://www.r2sports.com/tourney/home.asp?TID=10712 or http://www.cohandball.com to view the entry form and sign
up for this great tournament being offered at one of the nicest clubs, the
Downtown Athletic Club, in the heart of downtown Denver. Entries are
limited so sign up now! Do not spend the rest of 2013 and part of 2014
hearing about this great tournament, come be a part of it. I guarantee you
will have a great time and you will see some amazing handball.
All in the name of the perfect game!

The WPH R48Pro
qualifier is on Thursday only (Mar 7) and begins at 10am. Four brackets will
bring four qualifier winners. Those four
will be placed in a blind draw to go
up against the #5-#8 seeds (best chance at big money/points). Qualifier losers
will be placed into the top 16 and will also play for money (a qualifier loser
-Anthony Selestow- defeated #1 seed, Sean Lenning, in Houston and
received a huge pay-day; so, it can happen!).
WPH plays one game matches to
25, win by two until the semis (best 2 of 3 to 15, win by two).
