(Check back here often for tourney updates as they happen.)
Update July 22, 2015: The first day of the tournament is over and everything went pretty well. We got the gold windbreaker jackets and everyone liked them a lot. Tomorrow we start matches at the Littleton YMCA and more great racquetball at the Northridge Rec Center. Our masseuse, Tiffany Shocklee, was busy all day with sore players. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were all fabulous, thanks to Bill Fearing and his volunteer staff. Can't ask for more than...lots more racquetball tomorrow!
Update July 20, 2015: Everything is set for check-in night at the Northridge Rec Center, starting about 5:00 pm near courts 1 and 2. There will be sandwiches and a player meeting after we get some people through the line to get their player packets. For our fabulous Hilton Garden Inn Hotel guests, there will be two shuttle runs before the check-in night, in case you want to practice on those courts early, and two later in the evening to get back. Remember that you can walk from the club to the hotel on a sidewalk, but it's just over one-half mile. Shuttle leaves the hotel at 2:30 and 3:30, then 6:30 and 7:30. It leaves Northridge at 2:40, 3:40, 6:40 and 7:40---the last shuttle. If you miss that, someone will give you a ride! Match schedules will be open soon. TRY TO COME TO CHECK-IN NIGHT to save confusion and extra work on Wednesday before your matches. THANKS.
Update July 12, 2015: Patrick is doing the scheduling today. There are 25 ladies and 88 men players in the tourney. We will use the Littleton Family Y Thursday and Friday--not sure about Saturday yet. Lunches will only be served at the Northridge Rec Center, but you will get all of that information when you check in to the tournament.
July 10, 2015: Patrick Gibson will be scheduling matches tomorrow,
so if there is anyone who still wants to try to get in, call me NOW at
303.888.4461 and I might be able to get you in. Shirts will be ordered
and banquet meal numbers will be set this weekend.
Here is a link to the picture of the Gold tournament wind jacket. Women’s sizes are available, so I will
contact ladies about sizes. Men, I hope
your USAR profile size is right! I’ll
order a few extras, too. http://www.zoomcatalog.com/catalogs/591708#/186/
Inexpensive bus route trip planner from the airport here is an alternative to cabs and shuttles. It estimates over two hours for the trip, with some transfers, but I wanted to make you aware of it. Skyride leaves Denver International Airport on Level 5, Door 506, of the West side of the terminal (due to construction of a transportation hub) The hotel might be able to pick you up if you get close.
UPDATE July 6, 2015: The last day to sign up is today, but I do need some more doubles partners, if you want to play doubles! Call or update your entry with a second divisions.
Hilton Garden Inn only has rooms left for the first part of the week, and they will be $140 per night. Feel free to contact Amanda directly at 720.479.6522 if you want personal attention--perhaps someone might cancel. Thanks to everyone who is staying at the host hotel. You have saved us lots of money! Thanks!

note about the hotel (the Hilton Garden Inn):
Denver in July is very popular and we are lucky to have our hotel for
$119 per night. In fact, the NMRA and
our sponsors are subsidizing each room to bring it down to that rate, and we
are happy to do it to have more people able to attend the tournament and stay
at the host hotel. Please take advantage
of it, as there will be shuttle service from the host hotel(s) only. There are 10 one-bedroom suites available at
the Residence Inn (owned by the same family that owns the Hilton Garden Inn)
for $184 per night, but we think the Hilton Garden Inn rooms will be the most
popular. Book your rooms early, as there
are only 45 rooms blocked off for us at the Hilton Garden Inn. The hotels are only one-half mile from the
club, and the Friday night banquet will be at the Hilton Garden Inn
will be the fabulous Highlands Ranch Rec Center Northridge. If we need it, we will also use the Littleton
Family YMCA up the street. All courts
are cement-walled with back glass. The
Highlands Ranch Rec Center will also be used for USA Racquetball National
Singles in May. Thanks to Matt Anderson and
his crew for allowing us to use the facility.
Marcia Richards is our contact at the Littleton Family YMCA, and she had

is now the Vice President.
