Update Nov 14, 2018: The official deadline has passed, but I still need great partners and one female roommate. If you want to get in, give me (Cindy) a call at 303.888.4461. I am working on arranging all doubles partners, and I may call you to see if you would be willing to add a second doubles division. I live in the fire area of SoCal, and I haven't had internet access for a few days--just when I should be working on this. I should be back to normal in the next two days. Don't hesitate to call me if you have questions. Even though our player number is not as high as I anticipated, the round robins are very strong and you should get just enough racquetball for three days. Plan to attend the SATURDAY night banquet and play into Sunday afternoon. We will make sure you have a great time!

the 2018 NMRA Doubles-Only Championships, (this is different than our regular
schedule!) FRIDAY, SATURDAY AND SUNDAY, November 30 through December 2, 2018. It is going to be a great time in Tucson! We hope you will come out for the player
information meetings at 5:15 pm and 7:00 pm on Thursday, November 29, to get
all of your questions answered. We have
identical meetings for the early and late arrivers.

to the Grand Canyon and Sedona or over to Biosphere 2! There is so much to do, as you will see on
the Things To Do list.
For this three-day
tourney, the first event is $85; second is $25. You don’t have to have one mixed doubles
event, but we hope you will, as it makes the Mixed doubles stronger. You may request a doubles partner and/or a
roommate and we will do our best. For
the 70+ players, we will be offering a special second division where players
play with and against all of the other partners (limit of 16 entrants) to gain
points and have one player crowned champion. We call it Rotating Partner Doubles or Jackpot Doubles. Most likely 70- to 74-year-olds will be in
one division and 75+ will be in another. Of course, regular set-partner doubles will also be available.

the great location, the all-round-robin format of matches, and the fact that we
only have 11 courts for this tournament, we anticipate that the number of
players will be capped at about 150. Of
course, a waiting list will be created at that point, because 40+ players
always have an injury or last-second conflict. We hope we will be able to accommodate everyone.
