RULES
Racquetball Canada rules apply. All matches are 2 games to 15, tiebreaker to 11. No court hinders. Eye protection is mandatory. Losers MUST referee or secure alternate. Players may enter a maximum of 3 events (*2 singles, 1 doubles). Official tournament ball: Pro-Penn Green. Tournament Committee reserves the right to re-classify players if they deem appropriate and to combine categories where necessary.
TROPHIES
All divisions receive trophies for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd or consolation.
PROVINCIAL TEAM SELECTION
Juniors wishing to receive funding to attend the 2010 Junior Nationals April 26—May 1st in Burlington, Ontario MUST play in the appropriate age division. The top two girls and top two boys in the following divisions may be eligible for funding (18U, 16U, 14U, 12U) provided they meet the minimum skill testing requirement. The minimum requirement is as follows: Level 3 Racquetball Skills Development Program: 18U—80%, 16U—70%, 14U— 60%, 12U—50% .
SOUVENIR
Every player will receive an Alberta Racquetball Team Shirt.
ENTRY FEE
First event $50.00. Additional events $10.00 each. *The third event option is limited to experienced players who are skilled enough to be competitive in an older singles division. Please note: If you choose to enter two singles events you may have to play back to back matches.
