Event Description:

Join us for the Maverick September Triple Crown Championships. Mixed doubles will be played on Sunday morning, all singles on Saturday, all doubles on Sunday.

ProPenn HD Purple


This event is USAR/TXRA sanctioned. All divisions will play mini-match format, best 2 out of 3 games to 11 pts, with a tie-breaker to 11 pts. Round robin, all matches played consecutively, completed in about 3-4 hours.

Consolation Match(s):

No consolation since all divisions will be round robin format.

Age Requirement

For age division competition, participants must meet the proper age requirement as of the first day of the event.


All matches will be self-officiated.


No refunds will be given after the deadline. No exceptions.

Match Format:

Round robin format/pool play for all divisions. NEW mini-match format is best 2 out of 3 games to 11 points, tie-breaker to 11 points as well. One players from each group for playoffs for divisions with more than one group.


Breakfast, lunch (12p) and dinner (6pm) will be provided Saturday. Breakfast and lunch (12p) on Sunday. Gatorade and fruit throughout the tournament.


Cash for Men's/Women's Open singles and Men's Open doubles. Mavbucks will be given to 1st and 2nd place winners in all other divisions. $30-1st place, $20- 2nd place. Mavbucks are just like money and can be used on your next entry fee.

Tournament Check-In:

Players must check-in and be ready to play 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time of their match. Please help us keep the tournament running smoothly by arriving on-time.

Stringing Services:

Racquet stringing services will be available throughout the tournament. Stringing services range from $25-$35.

Sponsor Support & Donations:

No event can be a success without the help and support of volunteers and sponsors. We are looking for sponsors for the hospitality including the player meals for the tournament. These can be viewed in the additional items to purchase when checking out.


All Juniors divisions (18-, 16-, 14-, 12-, 10-) are only $25 for this event. College students receive $10 off their entry fee. A membership to the USAR/TXRA will be required


Towels are also provided at no charge by leaving your i.d. or something to remind you to bring the towel back.

Massage Therapy:

We will have a massage therapist here during the event. Mary will have her massage table set up downstairs by the glass courts. See her for all your massage and sports therapy before and after your matches.
