ISLE SUMMER CLASSIC
- This is a Single
Elimination play format - Two games to 15, and if
needed, a tiebreaker to 11. Any divisions
with 5 or less teams will be round robin. Round Robin matches will be one game to 21
with the winners of most matches winning said division.
- Men can only enter one skill level per division. For example, you
cannot play Men's B Singles and Men's A Singles. You are allowed, however, to
play another skill level in a different division. A player could enter B
Singles, A Doubles and Mix Open and it would be allowed.
- To eliminate errors, PLEASE SIGN UP ONLINE. If you
sign up via one of the tournament directors, please be clear as to which
division or divisions you are playing and who your partner is. Please double
check your entry online, this is on you and not the Directors.
- All participants are
required to Ref matches, or find a replacement, win or lose. Winners are to ref
next match. If Winners are playing in an upcoming match, then losers will also
need to ref. Failure to ref will result
in forfeit of a match.
- Please arrive AT LEAST 30 minutes before start time to check
in and warm up.
- Remember this is Michigan and this is "outdoor" racquetball,
we "All" bear the risks... If there is inclement weather, we will do
our best to complete play on Saturday, which may include modifying divisions
and matches. If Saturday's matches are suspended or postponed, we will
attempt to continue play on Sunday at Belle Isle.
State of Michigan Park Pass is required for admission to the island.
The Tournament Directors
reserve the right can combine and/or cancel any division, or modify a player’s
entered skill level.
