The Kitsap Splat! is an annual racquetball event held in Kitsap County, allowing local amateurs to compete alongside premier racquetball players from all over the world. Held at the iconic Kitsap Tennis & Athletic Center, this event is the top-tiered tournament in the county and has attracted entrants from seven different states and five different countries.
The 2014 Splat! IRT event saw USAR #2-ranked Rocky Carson win it all, as four of the top five nationally-ranked players competed for a purse of more than $8000, with prize money awarded in every division.
The 2015 Splat! WRT event saw USAR #6-ranked Jake Bredenbeck defeat the WRT #1-ranked player Alex Cardona in a match streamed live around the world.
Thanks to our sponsors, the Kitsap Splat! is back this year as an LPRT (Ladies Professional Racquetball Tour) experience. Paola Longoria, the #1-ranked woman in the world, will compete with the best ladies the planet has to offer in Lambert, Rajsich, Vargas, and more, including Kitsap's own Grace Hughes, recently returning from a three-year stint in Japan with her husband and new baby girl, Hope.
Known for its great food, the Splat! continues to feature local fare from the Bremerton Outback Steakhouse and taqueria-extraordinaire Juanito's Taco Shop, as well as meal tickets to Hopjacks (located right next door to the Silverdale Beach Hotel). KTAC also features a snack bar, with beer available for purchase.
