Player Tracking

The media section on the tournament website allows participants, family members, friends, and fans to track competitors throughout an event.

People can sign up to receive instant text notifications to get tournament match results as soon as they are recorded. There is a link to login to R2 sports profile, then opt in for the text messaging and select the participants that you wish to track.

When the director uses the tournament planner grid to run the live event, each time a game result is updated in the system, everyone tracking the players in the match will receive an instant text message that will display the result and scores. Live player tracking is currently available for individual sports only and not functional yet for team sports.

Use the media reporting tool to generate upcoming match reports. Coaches can easily select players and generate a schedule of all of their matches. Reporters and other media can generate upcoming division schedules to publish.

The media tool also allows users to generate results reports. Options include reports by division, by participant, by country, by state, by city, and by club. The player tracking tool also allows you to filter out by gender or match date, with another option to show 1st and 3rd place winners only.

In the event setup section, directors have an option to set a bracket tournament points system which gives participants a certain number of points for winning each match. Use the software tournament media report to determine point totals.

When director runs reports there are no restrictions, when users run reports from the website there is a limit of 10 items selected in per report. Reports can be viewed on the screen, or download as a plain text file for easy importing into newsletters or other publishing media.
