USHA Southeast Regionals Handball Tournament 2019
Downtown YMCA, 1000 Church St., Nashville, TN 37203
Friday May 31 to Sunday June 2
Draws and times (including Sunday) are all on R2 now.
Saturday evening dinner from 5 to 7pm will be at HiFi Clyde's, 1700 Church St, 615-432-2928.
From the parking lot underneath the Y, take 10th AV to right on Charlotte, right on YMCA Way, right onto Church. Go almost a mile (away from town); turn right onto 17th AV N, then left into gravel parking lot.
There is also ample street parking near there.
Mexican food buffet, plus we will be adding other items to the buffet as needed; let me know if vegetarian.
Non-alcoholic drinks are free. For domestic beer, each entrant should pick up two tickets at the tournament desk.
For foreign beers and hard liquor drinks the server will charge you directly.
We are in their separate room, at the back of it.
We have received confirmation that Daniel and Luis Cordova, Sean
Lenning, and Emmett Peixoto will attend the USHA Southeast Regionals and will provide a Pro Handball exhibition tournament!
TENTATIVE PRO MATCHES SCHEDULE:
Singles semi-finals, third place, and finals on Saturday June 1. Doubles on Sunday June 2.
Please register right away so we'll know how many t-shirts to order.
(If the brackets finish soon enough, tournament will finish Saturday, and Sunday morning will be pickup play.)
Tennessee Handball Association invites you to the Southeast Regional
Handball Tournament to be held at the downtown Y in Nashville, TN. This
is a USHA Sanctioned event with eye-guards mandatory. Non-USHA members
will be asked to buy a membership. The Y is located in downtown
Nashville in close proximity to major downtown attractions.
ALSO: Art Haffner will be filming the matches and taking photos, as well as playing. He is owner/webmaster/videographer/photographer for the Team Cleveland Handball website. It’s a multimedia website with action photos and video highlights from local, regional, national and pro tournaments. The website gets 60,000+ visitors every year.
AND: I forgot to say that all divisions will have consolation (except Open, which drops down to A), so you will be guaranteed at least two matches.

Entry fee: $75 for one event and $80 for two events. Students $25.
Food and drink: Friday pizza, mornings brunch, and lunch Saturday.
Souvenirs: Tournament Shirt and a plaque to 1st and 2nd
Hotels: Downtown Nashville offers many (expensive) hotels. Less expensive accommodations can be found along I-65 north and along I-40 and I-24 several miles out.
Play starts Friday at 5pm. Registration starts at 4pm.
