Tournament Media Report: Player Tracking & Reporting
The Software Tournament Media Report is a robust player tracking tool designed for directors and participants. It provides a dynamic way to generate match reports based on different event phases.
Reporting Dynamics
- Event-Phase Visibility:
- Pre-Tournament: Report displays upcoming matches only.
- Live Event: Both upcoming matches and finalized results are available.
- Post-Event: Only finalized tournament results are displayed.
- Reporting Options: Choose from 7 custom views: By Division, By Participant, By Country, By State, By City, By Club, or a summary of Top 4 Division Finishers.
Data Management & Interaction
- Participant Profile: Reports include the player's name, origin, and profile photo (if uploaded). The division name is linked for instant bracket access.
- Performance History: Opponent names are linked to their personal game history, and the "All History" link provides a comprehensive view of a player's performance across the entire R2 Sports ecosystem.
- Match Notes: Directors have the option to add custom match notes to individual reports.
- Press Coordination: For larger events, utilize the AP Report Generator to download clean text files, ready to email directly to local or regional press.
Calculated Analytics
When directors define tournament points for specific divisions, the media report calculates and displays totals based on the selected report filter. This provides an immediate view of top performers and point-based standings throughout the event.
