Tournament Scheduler: Core Control
The Tournament Scheduler is the central hub where the director controls all scheduled event times. This interface is engineered for both granular match-level control and high-level venue capacity oversight.
Director Control Panel (Left Side Links)
Utilize these features to manage the logistical flow of your event:
- Match Grouping: View and schedule matches in logical groups for easier management.
- Advancement Tracking: Visualize participant schedules to see where players will land if they continue to win.
- Match Reset: Quickly reset match times for individual games or groups as needed.
- Automated Scheduling: Trigger automated time-setting for Single Elimination and Round Robin brackets.
- Conflict Monitoring: View participant time conflicts immediately, identifying issues flagged during the online registration process.
- Division/Round View: Deep-dive into specific division match times, organized by round for precision scheduling.
Venue Capacity & Occupancy Tracking (Right Side Graphs)
The system provides a real-time visualization of your tournament's stress points:
- Venue Capacity Calculation: The system takes the total number of games required divided by the total games possible (defined in your Manager Options) to display a venue-wide capacity percentage.
- Warning Indicators:
- Yellow: Occupancy has exceeded 80%.
- Red: Occupancy has exceeded 100%. This serves as a critical warning to overbook for expected forfeits or to extend time availability in your Tournament Template setup.
Day-Level Management Icons
Use the icons next to each day to:
- View the Tournament Planner Time Grid.
- Set specific times using the grid interface.
- Print the official tournament schedule of game times.
